RECENT MARKETPLACE FINDS
Recently I’ve made a new goal for myself to try and source more things from our home through Facebook Marketplace. I’ve spent years saying “I could never find anything” through this method but in reality I wasn’t trying that hard. Turns out you have to dedicate time and effort on a consistent basis! Our first weekend hunting we were able to find multiple goodies and I feel like I’m officially hooked.
VINTAGE BUFFET
Our first find was this beautiful vintage buffet. I initially thought I would paint it but once we got it home and saw it’s beauty in person I don’t think I could ever. I had no idea how much this space was lacking until we upgraded. The saddest part being I payed way more for the brand new table that was here previously and the secondhand one is clearly the winner for a fraction of the price.
ANTIQUE GOLD MIRROR
Our second was this gorgeous antique gold mirror and now I need about 20 more for various spots in the house. Anthropologie would probably sell this mirror for close to $200 and we payed $30. It adds so much character to the wall and compliments our curtains so well.
CANE CHAIRS
Next up in a set of 4 cane chairs that I initially intended for our dining room. However I started playing around the house with them and I kind of love them in random corners. This room needed some more darker wood elements and it’s really helping the contrast.
